Headstone Reader

Anyone can use this tool. Two choices only: read a photo or read a video. GPS is mandatory — Photo and Video stay blocked if location is off, denied, or unavailable. Confirmed names write deceased rows for the selected cemetery. Walks are not published from here.

I approve and want to proceed. I intend to share this media and any names or dates read from the stone. Red Gold Cross may publish them on the public site and app (live beta). I will review every name and date before saving. Red Gold Cross is not responsible for mistakes the system reads.

GPS is required for Headstone Reader

Headstone Reader requires GPS for every photo and video. The flow is blocked if location is off, denied, or unavailable. Lat, long, and a timestamp are stored with the session.

Read a stone

Use the camera, or open a photo/video already on this phone or computer. GPS must already be captured. Video frames are compressed, blur-skipped, and de-duplicated so flaky cemetery data can retry.

We do not sell your information — photos, video, location, and inscriptions stay with cemetery records.
